Injury Report – April 27, 2010 By: Revolution Communications

No new injuries reported after Saturday’s match against Colorado

The New England Revolution athletic training staff released the Tuesday injury report this afternoon following the Revs’ training session. The list shows two upgrades, and more importantly, no new injuries following Saturday’s match against Colorado.

NE Injury Report – April 27, 2010
PROBABLE: Mauricio Castro (R ankle pain), Zak Boggs (R knee/R ankle sprain), Shalrie Joseph (R gastroc strain)
OUT: Emmanuel Osei (R leg laceration), Matt Reis (L shoulder/L knee surgery), Taylor Twellman (concussion)

Zak Boggs and Mauricio Castro have both been upgraded to PROBABLE after the weekend. Both players continue to progress with their injuries, being active in the early parts of training before going off to the side to work individually with the athletic training staff.

Shalrie Joseph is also listed as PROBABLE with a right gastroc (calf) strain, but will be away from the team for an indefinite period of time while he’s on an approved leave of absence.

On the OUT list, Emmanuel Osei continues to deal with a significant laceration on his leg, which has prevented him any aspect of team training or participation for the last week. Matt Reis continues to do strengthening and fitness work on his shoulder, most specifically in the pool recently. Taylor Twellman also works out with the team almost every day at training and then does side work on his own with the medical staff to improve his fitness.
