Twellman goes on season-ending injured reserve
The late-week injury list was released by the team’s athletic training staff after training this morning. The story of the week was Taylor Twellman being placed on season-ending injured reserve on Wednesday after he experienced a setback in his attempt to come back from a head injury he suffered in 2008.
Along with Preston Burpo, who suffered multiple fractures in his lower right leg in the game against New York on May 29, he and Twellman are two names you will not see move from the “OUT” list for the rest of the 2010 season.
